YPO is governed by members and supported by a professional staff. The YPO International Board is elected annually and works with YPO’s chief executive officer to fulfill the organization’s mission. With 15 regions and more than 200 chapters around the world, YPO serves its members at the local, regional and international level. (YPO’s graduate organization, WPO, encompasses another 100 chapters).

The chapter is the cornerstone of the YPO experience, the place where members in the same city or area develop close-knit peer networks. While most chapters meet approximately 10 times a year, members are also encouraged to broaden their YPO experience by participating in regional and international events.
