Frequently Asked Questions:

• Can I submit for an award in more than one category?
No. Please pick the category that best matches your application. However, if you feel your CSR project relates to more than one category, consider applying for the Leadership award, which recognizes organizations doing work in many of these important categories.

• How do I apply for the Leadership Award?
Submit your application and indicate that you would like to apply for the Leadership award.

• Do large organizations have a better chance of winning than small organizations do?
Not necessarily. The judges will look at the application as a whole and the extent of the effort toward Corporate Social Responsibility based on the size and complexity of the organization. Smaller organizations stand just as strong a chance of winning an award as larger organizations.

• If I submitted an award application last year, can I resubmit the same application this year?
You are welcome to resubmit your application from last year. Please know that this award received 160 applications from around the world last year. The applications were all extremely strong and the judging was difficult. If you did not receive an award last year, you may want to spend some time reading the submissions that won and updating your application in any way you think might strengthen your submission.

• Are all the categories this year the same as last year?
Four of the five categories are the same. This year, an additional category was added for philanthropic/nonprofit organizations.

• Can I submit photographs, DVDs or other multimedia materials?
Please only submit the award application and essay questions. Due to the number of applications received, and the timeframe for judging, the judges will not have the ability to review additional materials.
