January 2017: Nearly 100 members attended an exclusive networking event during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in Las Vegas. February 2017: With the theme, “Explore. Engage. Excel.” the 2017 Global Leadership Conference hosted by YPO opened in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The annual GLC focuses on peer-to-peer collaboration and leadership education for its “leaders of leaders,” incoming YPO chapter, regional and network officers. Read highlights from the 2017 GLC.
March 2017: More than 2,600 business leaders from around the world spent two days learning from more than 50 renowned speakers at the YPO EDGE in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada — hosted for the first time in Western Canada. YPO Chairman 2016-2017 McKeel Hagerty encouraged the sold-out crowd of more than 2,600 leaders to “give this time to yourself to learn and grow and make connections with people from around the world who have gathered here in Vancouver.” Read highlights from the 2017 YPO EDGE.
April 2017: Leaders from more than 50 chapters met in New York City for YPO’s International Conference for Women last weekend, bringing together members, spouses and 10 daughters of members for exclusive learning and networking opportunities.
May 2017: For the second consecutive year, YPO hosted Innovation Week, a series of more than 70 events around the world designed to bring together the world’s most dynamic innovators for a chance to connect, challenge conventional thinking and gain actionable, applicable insight. June 2017: Members from 40+ chapters around the world went back to school for YPO’s Stanford Graduate Business School Program. They spent six inspiring days in the heart of Silicon Valley harnessing the power of innovative thinking and reimagining their business models. Throughout the year, members also enjoyed our annual executive education programs at Harvard Business School, London Business School and University of California at Berkeley.
July 2017: Members from 25 chapters experienced a 2.5 week once-in-a-lifetime, multi-country journey experiencing more than one bucketlist adventure every day, including this unforgettable sendoff at the airport in Tanzania before traveling on to the Maldives.
August 2017: Members from 30 chapters met in Southern California for the Women’s YPO Network bi-annual retreat. Read insights of entrepreneurial women members of YPO.
September 2017: YPO’s 2017 Europe Regional Conference in Kazakhstan connected more than 110 members from 80 chapters in Europe. The event included an Only-In-YPO Opening of the Presidential Library for Education Sessions held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, a behind-the-scenes visit to Astana EXPO 2017, and a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
October 2017: Our 2018 YPO EDGE and YPO Global Leadership Conference champions and team from around the world met in Singapore for the second planning meeting. This will mark the second time Singapore will host YPO’s landmark annual event. Get ready for YPO EDGE Singapore.
November 2017: More than 300 members and spouses from around the world experienced YPO’s Vietnam Presidents’ University to explore what modern Vietnam truly stands for from the people who are shaping its success.
