Somen Mondal is a Canadian entrepreneur and the Co-founder of Ideal. With an early fascination of the future of AI, Mondal pursued a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a MBA from Queen’s University. Mondal served as Co-founder and CEO of Field ID until it was acquired by Master Lock LLC in December 2012. Mondal’s trophy case includes spots on the Profit Hot 50 and Deloitte Fast 50 Companies-to-Watch lists as well as the 2012 Ontario Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Outside the office, Mondal is passionate about the AI tech community and has a knack for discovering great restaurants around the world.
