Bob Halperin
Bob Halperin is a recognized expert on peer forums, co-author of the Harvard Business Review article “How to Get the Most out of Peer Support Groups: A Guide to the Benefits and Best Practices,” and a featured guest on the HBR Channel.
Halperin is a certified forum facilitator and former chief education officer at YPO. Based on that experience, he co-founded Alumni Forum Services (AFS) to offer the benefits of forum to Harvard Business School alumni and other executive groups. Over the past 15 years, AFS has launched scores of HBS Alumni Forums across North America, including specialized forums for social enterprise leaders and HBS’s LGBTQ alumni association. Other organizations that have initiated forum programs with Halperin’s guidance and support include HBS’s Owner President Manager (OPM) program, McKinsey, Citibank, Electronic Arts, Ahold Delhaize, UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, IESE Business School (Barcelona), Techstars, and Circl.es.
Halperin is a Research Affiliate (and former Executive Director) at MIT’s Center for Collective Intelligence, and Chairman of the Academic Board of the Emeritus Institute of Management, a collaboration between MIT Sloan, Columbia and Dartmouth Tuck business schools. Previously, Halperin was a senior executive education leader at Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management and Babson College.
