Carissa Reiniger
Carissa Reiniger is the Founder and CEO of Silver Lining, a company she started in 2005 with a mission to change the global economy, one small business at a time. She designed the Silver Lining Action Plan (SLAP™) methodology based on interviews with 400 small business owners.
The SLAP Program is a tech-enabled, data-driven small business growth program that is based on behavior change science and the SLAP methodology. In 2021, she founded Silver Lining Capital, giving small business owners access to capital based 100% on the behavioral data in the SLAP Program.
Silver Lining is an advocate for economic justice and believes that small business is a fundamental element of creating a more just global economy. Reiniger works to create a reality where anyone with the courage to start a small business can access everything needed to create a profitable, sustainable business.
An advocate for global corporations to encourage small business growth, Reiniger’s insights have been featured in media including the New York Times, Good Morning America, Forbes and TechCrunch. She is writing her second book.
