Guy Spier
Guy Spier, CEO, Aquamarine Capital, is a Zurich-based author and investor. He launched his Aquamarine Fund after completing his MBA at the Harvard Business School in 1993.
The fund is an investment vehicle inspired by the early Warrant Buffett partnerships and managed by closely replicating the original Buffett partnership rules. Typical investors include high net-worth individuals, family offices and private banks.
In 2008, Spier made news with a friend by placing the winning bid of USD650,000 in a charity auction to have lunch with Buffet. He also holds a First Class degree in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University.
His book, “The Education of a Value Investor” has sold more than 40,000 copies and has also been translated into Hebrew, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Mandarin and Spanish.
