Morgan’s ethos is that great leadership is not a formula or a program; it is an attitude, and behaviour — about opening the heart, and inspiring — oneself and others.
He began his career as a teacher and worked in the leisure management space. In 1991, Morgan became the U.K.’s second youngest local authority Chief Executive at age 38 with Moray Council. As a volunteer, Morgan was Chair of a youth befriending charity for 10 years and works with CRISIS for the homeless in London each Christmas. He is a keen sportsman after playing basketball for Scotland and became a skiing, windsurfing, basketball and squash coach. He lives between the Highlands of Scotland and Melbourne Australia and has two children (Ria 25 and Ry 31) who both live and work in London.
